The boys start school!!!!

Both of the boys started school last week on the same day. Aiden started his journey into Kindergarten while Austin started his first year of preschool. Now, I still can not believe they are both in school and are getting so big BUT I was not super upset to see them start school. I miss Aiden so much since he is gone all day every day but Austin only goes 2 days a week for 3 hrs so I still have him most of the time :) I am looking forward to some one on one time with Austin and trying to make sure I get all the quality time I can when Aiden is home. Both boys love school so far. I thought I would have alot of extra time while they were gone but it seems I am running between schools most of the days and do not quite have all the time I was hoping for. All in all, it was a great first week and I am sure we will all get into a pattern and I look forward to a great school year.....and our last one in Korea!!!!

Labor Day Picnic

Every year the Embassy holds a Labor Day Picnic for all the families and this year was fantastic. They had a bounce house for the kids, cotton candy, volleyball, soccer, t-ball, traditional korean dancing and best of all, GREAT food!!!! The kids had a blast and so did we. Actually, we had such a good time that we did not get that many picutres as we were so busy having fun :)

What's for lunch.......kimbop

Aiden got a kimbop maker for his birthday from some friends and he has been asking me to try it out. Finally, I made it to the store and got the supplies needed and we spent a afternoon making kimbop for lunch. The boys really like it and it is one of my favorite things to get when we eat Korean food. It is kinda like an American easy bake oven except it make kimbop since that is served with most Korean meals. Anyways, we put some of our own food into it but we also use some of the traditional Korean food. Then, whatever creation we put in, we add rice and wrap it up in dried seaweed.....YUMMY!!!! Enjoy the pics below and Mamaw and Papaw Davis better be prepared for this during their visit as Aiden already has mentioned making it for them :)
