My baby turns "2"

Happy birthday to Austin!!!! I can not believe my baby is 2 already. We had another great party here at the house and Austin had a great time. He gots lots of nice presents, we had good cake and great company. I was really impressed at how he opened all of his presents and really seemed to be into it. It was not until Aiden's 3rd b-day that he got into opening presents. Also, Austin loved, loved, loved us singing Happy Birthday to him and he blew his candle out at the end on his own. He is getting so big and so smart. As always, we love and miss everyone back home. I wish more than anything we could have celebrated with family and friends back in Ohio but thanks to a great group of friends here, we had a wonderful party for our little man :) Enjoy the pictures below!!!!!!

Tiovivo

It was raining once again today and we were feeling pretty down that Josh had a 3 day weekend and it rained all weekend so we decided to find something inside to do. I have heard of several places to go with the kids indoors but Tiovivo was the main place I wanted to go. It is also fairly close to our house so we felt comfortable going there. Also, I invited one of my friends to join us and they are pretty good with directions and let us follow them which made it alot easier and less stressful :) I am so glad I have met Jan and she and her husband are very nice and have a great family. She has 2 daughters and Aiden really likes playing with her oldest Addison. There are some pictures of them below. Tiovivo is somewhat expensive but there are alot of things for the kids to do. It was not busy at all which was suprising but good. Upstairs they have different areas set up like train tables, tracks similar to hot wheel tracks where you can build a track, several playhouses, kitchen things, dress up, dolls, trucks, small fish aquarium, and other things. Downstairs they have a nice ball pit and then several stations set up where there are actual people (workers) to assist the kids with pretend play. Some examples of the booths are: an area for them to pretend they are on a tv news station, dress up, beauty shop, music area, sand box area and best of all a driving place where they actually get driver's license made with their pictures. I am going to try to scan them in here once our scanner arrives so look for that later. You can see pictures of Aiden driving below. However, for some reason their eyes are really red in these....must have been the lighting inside.

Anniversary Dinner

Josh and I had a wonderful night out tonight to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We went to a restaurant at The Grand Hyatt called The Paris Grill. This was by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. We hope to take both sets of parents there if they want to go when they visit. However, I will warn you it is VERY expensive. For two people to eat without drinks it cost us just shy of $140.....yes you read that right, now pick your jaw up off the floor :)

The view was also amazing and we were able to have a beautiful, clear night to eat out on the terrace. Korea is big on service and that was clear at dinner as our waiter was excellant and the manager came around twice to check on us. So overall, great service, great view, great food and a wonderful night for us to enjoy a nice quiet dinner. I honestly think I fall in love with Korea more and more everyday!!!!!!

Welcome to Seoul President Bush

What a great once in a lifetime chance Josh had today to met President Bush and the First Lady. Josh attended a "meet and greet" today and was able to listen to President Bush speak and also got to shake his hand and speak with him for a few minutes. After his speech, he came down and greeted all 150+ people there and spoke with each of them personally for a few minutes. I wish I could have had a picture of Josh with the President but he got some good pictures and some of them show him very close....shaking hands with the person right next to Josh. The President also got all of the children that were there up front and had photographers from the White House take pictures. He then gave all the parents tickets...I assume to get copies of those pictures. I still do not regret not going. Most of the children there were a little older and it lasted a total of about 3 hours which I am sure my boys would have not enjoyed. So even though it would have been neat to be there, I am glad Josh went and is able to share the pictures with us. Maybe next time the boys will be a little older and we can met the next President!!!! Enjoy the pictures below.....

Beautiful Day!!!!!!

What a beautiful day it was today. After spending almost every day of the past three weeks either inside because it was pouring rain or outside getting sprinkled on, I think monsoon season may be slowing down. I am trying to not jinx myself but not only was this weekend nice but the whole week looks like it is going to be hot, humid and sunny...just the way I like it :) So, we enjoyed the day today just playing outside. We finished the trampoline net, played with bubbles, chalk and other outside toys and went swimming. After dinner, Aiden finally got to try out his birthday present (his scooter) which he is already really good at and Austin is working on learning to ride his big wheel.
