The Adventures of Potty Training

It is no secret how ROTTEN Austin is but I just had to laugh at him today. He started to pee in the potty on his own while we were still in Ohio. I never pushed it a whole lot because I knew we had to fly back to Korea and it would be hard to do on the plane and once we first got in. However, Austin made the whole trip to Korea without an accident and is 100% pee trained. He will come tell me when he has to go and never has an accident. NOW, pooping is another story. He wants NO part of it and has gotten into a bad habit of hiding from me when he has to poop. Normally, he goes back in Aiden's room, shuts the door, huddles in the corner and poops his pants. Then, he will not come out until I realize he is "missing" and go find him. Well, today we were in the back of the house by the bedroom folding laundry and apparently, Austin knew he would never get away with trying to hide back there. So, he decided to come out and find a new hiding place to poop. Below are the pictures I took of him. I found him by "following the smell" :) Even though I am fuming that he will not poop when he knows to do it, this made me laugh and I just could not get upset with him. If you look closely in the first picture you can see his leg sticking out. He was behind the chair in the toy room and then wrapped the full length curtains on both sides so no one could see him.....smart little devil huh!!!! Then when I said "Austin what are you doing", the next two pictures of what I got. Enjoy!!!!

Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band at Yongsan

Tonight was a concert by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band and it was really good. I am not sure what I expected but it was much better than I thought it would be and really cool to see Gary Sinese from CSI-NY (AKA Lt. Dan) here in Korea. They played a wide variety of music and the weather was perfect for an outdoor concert. Afterwards, we joined some new friends for wine and a nice visit.

Fathers Day

Josh had to work all day on Sat. so the boys wanted to make a Fathers Day card for him. So, on a last minute decision, we make some cards. The boys really had fun and they enjoyed suprising him the next morning with them. We had a good Fathers Day and look forward to many more to come.

Florida Vacation 2009

We had an awesome time during our visit to Florida. Although it rained almost the whole time we were there, we found plenty of stuff to keep busy. We hope to visit again when we get back to the states, but we hope for some better weather and a longer stay :)

Aiden Graduates Preschool

Since we left Korea and spent the second half of the "school year" in Ohio, we enrolled Aiden is St. Pat's Preschool. Lucky for him, Grandma Jacomet works there and was his teacher. He LOVED having her as his teacher and Wednesday's were his favorite days because he got to go home with "Ms. Phyllis"

Our time in Ohio!!!!

I am so behind on my blogpage. We left Korea on Jan 16th to go back to Ohio for a few months while Josh ent to Iraq. The trip ended up lasting longer than we intended as Josh got extended in Iraq. We were home for 5 months and returned to Korea on June 4th. However, we really enjoyed our time with family and look forward to coming home next summer. We did so much and we were able to spend time with all our friends and family. Below are a few pictures from our time there.....
